The Spring
Meeting was held March 24-25, 2000 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Baton Rouge.
The committee meetings on Friday afternoon were followed by a reception
honoring Kellie Grimsinger, the state winner of the LPMA writing contest. After
the party members went to various restaurants in Baton Rouge.
An
excellent scientific program planned by Donna M. Mancuso, MD on Saturday
morning featured lectures on an "Overview of Workplace Violence" by David E.
Post, MD and "Violence in Schools" by Debra K. DePrato, MD An Executive Council
luncheon was held at noon, and a General Membership Meeting at 1:30 p.m.
