Certifications by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (ABPN):

Psychiatry: Drs. Patrice M. Ambrose, Lloyd D Bellah, Daphne A. Glindmeyer, Peter Michael Mahony, Jr., Robert David Maresh, J. Scott Stanley, L. Lee Tynes, Edwin R. Urbi.

Dr. Milton W. Anderson presented on Anxiety Disorders in Children for the Greater New Orleans Pediatric Society.

Drs. Ellen Gandle, Alan Newman, Herman Soong and John Thompson participated in a Mardi Gras Symposium on "Cycle of Violence: Assessment and Management of Aggression. Dr. Thompson was the program director, and he presented on Violence and Psychosis: Patterns and Themes of Aggression. Dr. Newman was the program co-director, and his talk was on Violence and the Media. Dr. Gandle's topic was Violence in Children. Dr. Soong spoke on Violence in Correctional Institutions: From SMI to Sociopathy.
  Dr. John Smith addressed the annual meeting of the Mental Health Association in Louisiana on Innovations in Treatment with Medication.

Dr. Dudley Stewart participated in a forum at Charity Hospital featuring AMA, state and local medical officials.

Dr. Max Sugar's most recent publications are "They Shall Wear Fringes" in the Journal of the American Academy of Psychoanalysis (27:355-369) and "The Adolescent in Group and Family Therapy." (Second edition. Second printing. Master Work Series. Northvale, NJ: Aronson Publishing)

Dr. Gene Usdin conducted Grand Rounds at LSUMC in Shreveport.
